The Safe Routes to School program will sponsor a Bike Safety Rodeo and Bike Swap at the Stone Center on Saturday May 3. The program is designed to make sure that each bike is safe to ride and to give each rider the skills to ride safely. There will be an obstacle course in the parking lot, braking skill drills and an opportunity to get a guided safety tour of the new Oxford Depot Rail/Trail.

Something new this year is a bike swap just before the rodeo. The bike swap will provide the opportunity for families with bikes to sell to get together with those who would like to buy a gently used bike. The Pathways Commission will also accept donations of bikes in working condition
