Pathways Meeting Wed April 4 2007 Report

1. Construction Report - Kevin McLeod   
 -	We are now at day 60 of 120 working days in the contract.
 -	Plans to start pouring box culvert South of Whirlpool soon 
 -	Hopes to have most of paving to Molly Barr done by the 28th
 -	Jackson Ave Bridge expected by June - Concrete footers in next few weeks
	
2. Phase 2 -- TEA funding update -- $2.4 million  
 * Board voted to authorize signing the grant - 
	- $480,000 in Matching funds will come from -construction at Lamar Park, Sportsplex
	- Bridge over Hwy 6 almost $1 million of the total

3. Outreach activities report
	Sunday Community rides, 3/25 - 6 riders, 4/1- 16 riders, 4/8 Easter
	Bike Month events for may
	- Bike to Work Day - Friday May 18, 2007
	- Bike to Lunch on the Square
	- Kids Bike Rodeo, Helmet give away, bike swap
	- Visit from Cliff Heegel <MemphisBikes.org>, LAB instructor for seminar / safe riding classes
		
4. Presentation from Darlene Copp on Oxford Walking Tour brochure / heritage tourism / Pathways cooperation.
	- Updated brochure should be out at the end of April Ð 
	- Community heritage walking tours - Tentative Plans
		- "Come walk with me" - Sat June 9th Ð 2 tours, 10am & 1pm


5. Bicycle Friendly Communities Application - Completed March 23.
